In its current Safety Flashes for December, IMCA focused on in a situation where beneficial unexpected truck movement caused rigger to fall off a spectrum.

The occurrence

An astonishing movement of a container laden truck during disconnection of the type of container’s rigging, caused a rigger to fall off a ladder leaning against the container.

Two containers were receiving loaded onto a trailer lorrie which includes a mobile crane. The manager, administrator conducted the toolbox talk looking at starting work. The riggers ought to be the container’s rigging (chain hooks), using a ladder to connect to the connection points.
